Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Laravel Daily ("we", "us") collects when you use the website laraveldaily.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address and a hashed password.
Sign in with Google or GitHub
If you choose to sign in with Google or GitHub, we request only the basic profile scopes (openid, email, profile) and receive from the provider:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your account ID at that provider (stored so we can recognize you the next time you sign in)
We do not receive or store your Google or GitHub password, and we do not access your contacts, files, emails, calendar, repositories or any other data in those accounts.
Payment information
Subscriptions are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Card and billing details are entered directly with Paddle and are never stored on our servers. We receive your subscription status, plan, and billing country.
Content you submit
Comments, package submissions, feedback messages and course progress you create on the website are stored together with your account.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address with our email provider so we can send it to you.
Usage and technical data
We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are visited and where visitors come from (such as referrer and campaign parameters). We also log technical data such as IP address, browser type and error details to keep the website secure and fix bugs.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and let you sign in
- To give you access to the courses and content included in your subscription
- To process payments and manage subscriptions and teams
- To send transactional emails (for example, password resets and receipts) and, if you subscribed, the newsletter
- To protect the website from spam and abuse
- To understand usage and improve the website
Information received from Google APIs is used only to sign you in and is handled in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use it for advertising and do not sell it.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us run the website, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Paddle – payment processing and invoicing
- Email delivery and newsletter providers – sending emails
- Google reCAPTCHA – spam protection on forms
- Analytics providers (Matomo, SimpleStats) – aggregated usage statistics
- Hosting, search and error-monitoring providers – running the website, search, and fixing bugs
We may also disclose information if required by law.
4. Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the website to work, such as keeping you signed in and protecting forms. Analytics tools may also set cookies to measure visits.
5. Data Retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Billing records are kept as long as required by tax and accounting laws. Logs are kept for a limited time.
6. Your Rights and Deleting Your Data
You can access and update your account details in your profile. You can ask us to export or delete your account and personal data at any time by emailing [email protected]. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email.
