Laravel Internal Live-Chat with Reverb and Livewire

Hey, quick question — do you think Laravel Reverb is a good choice for building a real-time chat system for a Flutter mobile app?

My use case isn’t just basic messaging. I need role-based communication (student/teacher/admin), message filtering (blocking phone numbers/emails), admin monitoring, and saving all messages. Also, users will send images, videos, and files through the chat.

Do you think Reverb can handle this well in terms of performance and scalability, or would you recommend another approach?

Unfortunately, I don't have experience with this combination of Flutter and Live Chat with Laravel, so I don't have advice here, sorry.
