I've been using Junie heavily on some complex projects for months and have very happy with the results. On having to approve stuff, I usually just use "brave mode" and not worry about having to keep clicking that button.

I also run Ollama locally with qwen3-coder and have PHPStorm's AI set to use that. It gives a pretty significant reduction in credit usage.

Where I do see problems is when using less popular things. For example, I'm working on a client project using AdonisJS with VideoJS and it struggles there.

You were close to finding out the usage. Its the swirl/whirlpool icon at the top right, next to the search and settings icon. If you click on that it shows you your remaining credit and plan etc.

Thanks, Dan! Well it shows 33.67 out of 35.00 credits left. So still not sure what that ACTUALLY means. Not that helpful, compared to dashboard of Codex or usage of Claude Code CLI.

What was your take on Cursor here Povilas?

Sorry replying so late (only now saw the comment). Cursor is surprisingly back into the game with their new Composer 2.5 model (and now bought by Elon and SpaceX).

That's why I sometimes need to re-shoot courses every few months or so, especially with AI :)

So yes, Cursor is a viable option but only with Composer model, otherwise it's way too expensive, using API pricing of other models.
